Kumawood on-screen character and comedian, Abraham Kofi Davies, who is otherwise known as Salinko has uncovered that he is competing to be a Member of Parliament (MP) on the ticket of the Progressive People Party (PPP) as a result of his affection and love for the flag bearer of the PPP, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom.
The comedian as of late picked his forms to challenge for the PPP’s Parliamentary Primaries at Atwima Kwawoma Constituency in Ashanti Region.
Speaking with the media, Salinko said he has been a devotee of Dr Nduom since infancy.
He said, being a great, enthusiastic individual, I took over Dr. Nduom since the Fourth Republic of Ghana, despite the fact that he has lost elections a few times, regardless he pays his contribution to the nation and I have adored him since my early stages and now I have the opportunity to support him as an MP.
Salinko conceded that he didn’t have enough thought of how parliament works, however, guaranteed to learn at work saying, “When you go to Rome, you do what the romans do”.
He uncovered that, the general population in his constituency was content with news of his goal to keep running for parliament.
