Ghanaian Young actor, Abraham Attah

Abraham Attah, Ghanaian Young performing artist missed out on an Oscar nomination for his role in the famous film ‘Beasts Of No Nation’.

The reprimand is a let down for film enthusiasts who were wowed by his performance in the Netflix-supported motion picture, which was shot in Ghana.

Oscar Awards Otherwise called The Academy Awards, the awards show is a yearly American award function honoring true to life accomplishments in the film industry.

The 88th Academy Awards will be hung on 28th of February, 2016, and will be hosted by Chris Rock.

Abraham Attah won ‘Rising Star Award’ at the Black Film Critics Circle (BFCC) weeks prior. The award scheme called Attah’s performance as, ‘one of the most grounded and most sensational we have ever seen’ and included that he had ‘a brilliant future in front of him’.

It was his second grant subsequent to winning Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival 2015.

He has additionally been selected for three grants as such: ‘Best Male Lead’ at the Spirit Awards 2015, ‘Remarkable Actor In a Motion Picture’ at the 47th yearly National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards and ‘Youthful Actor/Actress’ class at the 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards.

Abraham Attah played the lead part of Agu, who, when common war shreds his family, is compelled to join a unit of the hired fighter contenders and changed into a tyke trooper.

Idris Elba played the leader of the soldier of mercenary unit.
