Jay Ghartey is a New York based Ghanaian Afro-pop music artist, won multiple awards, has jerked back with a quick beat Afro-pop track titled “Chop Something”.
Translation of “Chop Something is ‘enjoy the fruit of your labor’ or simply ‘eat something’ basically it is a pidgin phrases and after Jay Ghartey one year unannounced break, it is his first track.
The dance track is produced by popular sound engineer, Dugud is a warm-up and astonish blessing to every one of his fans in Ghana and over the globe.
Jay Ghartey discloses in an interview that “Chop something’ is a song to inspire and to push individuals to live their own lives in a better way, and to chop something. You can chop award, money, a match and many numerous things. Forget about things that are negative and chop something.
Ghartey expresses affection and allegiance to his fans by saying this “I so love my fans. Just they are loyal to me and in return I am also loyal to them, my fans are my real strength and I supplicate every one of my fans are prosperous this year”.
