SP Kofi Sarpong
While some of Wisa’s colleagues in the music industry might not feel right to work with him due to the incident where he revealed his manhood on stage recently, gospel artist SP Sarpong says he won’t hesitate to work with him.
This was revealed after media reported that managers of both artists were in contact for them to collaborate on a track. Though Kofi Sarpong said nothing is official yet.
It’s a fact that two musicians are from different genres, the question arises that why the Ayeyi Ndwom singer would decide to collaborate with Wisa since their lyrics are totally different as compared to one another.
Wisa is currently facing trial at court for his indecent exposure on stage. In an interview, SP Sarpong said “If I ever collaborate with Wisa, It will be my way of making people realize that God doesn’t judge us. He accepts us in every situation and condition, so why should we do contrary to what God does for us?” he questioned.
He stressed that Ghanaians have already criticized Wisa enough, and he knows he would have to face a lot of criticism from his fans yet he would not hold back from working with him.
According to Kofi, his manager had made contact with Wisa’s management without him knowing but preparations are still going on.
The gospel star said after Wisa’s improper act on stage last month, he tried to approach him through comedian, Funny Face but things didn’t work out as planned until he met Wisa himself.
“When I met him, I didn’t know my manager had talked to his management but I just wanted to encourage him because I felt bad for him, we talked about things and I could see he really regretted his actions”.
