Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy
From most despised foes to companions? It seems controversial dancehall artist, Shatta Wale is genuinely planning a new path by resolving differences with a few artists, especially Stonebwoy.
Following quite a while of quarreling, it would appear that there is some sort of peace between the two artists.
A year ago, Stonebwoy in the wake of getting an award at the 2015 4Syte Music Video Awards, welcomed Shatta Wale amid his acknowledgment discourse to go along with him in front of an audience.
Shatt Wale made that new companionship clear Thursday night when he defended Stonebwoy amid an interview with the media.
Global reggae artiste, Luciano, had guaranteed that Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artists are ‘duplicate felines,’ referring to Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
As indicated by Luciano, who was talking with the media in an interview on the “Onstage” show in Jamaica, most Ghanaian dancehall artists go on the web and attempt to duplicate what the Jamaican artists do as opposed of being unique.
Rubbishing what Luciano said, the “Kakai” hit artist said, In some cases, certain artists think individuals need to take after their pattern of music.
He noticed that some Jamaican artistes are huge in Ghana and ‘Luciano himself is not enormous like that in Ghana at this moment. When you discuss Luciano, you discuss my granddad’s chance … old kind of music’.
Shade Wale told Luciano who, came to Ghana recently… to preach the uprightness he has been discussing to the Jamaicans.
Defending Stonebwoy, the 2014 Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, Shatta Wale said, When you discuss Stonebwoy, he is attempting to push the vocation same way as I am pushing. He is accomplishing something extraordinary that we Ghanaians love.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, included that Luciano’s perceptions are incorrect and noticed that, occasionally when they come to Ghana, they need to regard us since we trust we are all Africans…
