Coordinators of the yearly Kumawood Akoben Film Festival and Awards ( KAFF Awards) have rendered a statement of regret and apology to the Ghanaian public for the inconvenience and trouble made at the fifth edition of the event.

The 2015 edition of the event held at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City recorded a few disasters which in the long run prompted some showbiz intellectuals and industry players chastening the coordinators.

Among their second thoughts was the way the event began behind planned schedule and the prior delay of the event on two successive times.

Talking in a meeting with the media, the Chief Executive Officer of KAFF Awards, Mr. Samuel Kwabena Darko lavishly apologized to all the industry players, including the media, bloggers, advertisers, merchants, makers, executives, team, on-screen characters and over the poor administration as they did towards the event.

It was a great challenge, yet we apologize to the general population. We know some of you are frustrated, yet we are trusting that things will improve this year.

Samdackus demonstrated that all negative reactions from the general population have been noted and as coordinators, they would chip away at their weaknesses.

We are assembling all negative reactions and commitments so we are improving this year. We had few difficulties which we will ensure we deal with, he noted.

He additionally negated assertions that the KAFF awards arrives to praise his impulses and whims.
