Sarkodie, the Ghanaian rapper, when released his new track namely, “Inflation” most people believed that he has an interest in politics and possibly in the nearby future can turn to politics.

Sarkodie: I don’t support any political party
In the song, the award winning artist is talking about the President John Mahama government, reminding them of the duties that are not being done by them which cause an economic crisis in the country.
Although, the rapper didn’t use any harsh words, but it’s tough and emotional while singing the song.
In an interview with BBC Focus on Africa Thursday, he said, I have no interest in politics and neither had I followed any political party.
I only have concerns about the current situation of the country, especially these living conditions that are affecting the ordinary man in the country, said Sarkodie.
I am a citizen of this country, so whenever anything will disturb, I have the right to talk about it. The way, when soemone doesn’t like my music, he can criticize me.
At this point, Ghana needs a leadership not political divides.
People are taking this song as if I belong to any party, but let me be honest, “We don’t need parties, we need leadership.”
