The National Kakamotobi street festival has started from 5 December to December. The event will start at 8 am and end at 5 pm each day.
This street festival was presented by a National Kakamotobi Association with the Event Management Association of Ghana, GAK with the support from the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Creative Arts.
However, the Ghana Domestic Tourism Company, event organizers said, the festival is presenting to provide a big platform for adults and also for the children to have lots of fun.
Also to permute the education of the medium kakamotobi, entertainment and national unity. The street festivals will help to promote kakamotobi internationally, locally as an art.
Everyone should join this festival to promote Ghana by taking participation in international street festivals and generate outdoor enjoyment and free time for relaxation for adults and children.
Ghana Association of Kakamotobi GAK revealed in the media that the event has introducing according the principle and roles of streets Accra.
The processions will end at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park. Where will a kakamotobi dance competition take place and will decide who the best motobi of the year 2015 is, also a Fun fare will create for participants come all over the country.
Barima Adu Asamoa, Chief Executive and the founder of the Ghana Kakamotobi Association, said that “as a nation I think we are endowed with some unique and cultural art forms and also practices or rehearsals that need to be researched with the view of adding value and redefining.
Meanwhile, to put Ghana on the cultural map of the world and also produces facilities of jobs for youth. Motobi Festival 2015 is introduced in Ghana, with that we will also develop Ghana’s private sectors and support the other institutions.
