Ghanaian Comedian and emcee, Derrick Kobina Bonney, known in showbiz as DKB has taken a swipe at the DSTV because they are keep on showing music videos from Nigeria on their channel at the expense of Ghana.

On a social network app, twitter, DKB in a tweet registered his disappointment at the TV station and inquired when they are going to stop and will put a full stop to this form of favoritism and discrimination.

It will be reviewed that Edward Nana Poku, popularly known as Da’ Hammer, who is founder of The Last Two Music Groups has expressed on radio station that music in Ghana is getting to be restricted and one-way due to the fact that DSTV plays music videos which are mostly Nigerian.

He said, so it’s very clear that whoever watches DSTV knows Nigerian music is in vogue and is trendy. It is driving the people from other countries to play their music like the Nigerian music.

I am referring to DSTV due to the fact that it is the main TV channel that traverses all over the Africa. In the event that you check their playlist, it’s just around five artists (who get their tracks played) yet the Nigerian music is continually played on the DSTV.
