Multiple award-winning gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has stated that nowadays Gospel Music is a capital intensive venture in Ghana.

She said that gospel musicians pay a lot of fees for studio session before getting their music recorded, so television platforms pay their music videos before airing them.

The Gospel Star further said that promoting their work through radio is an issue for many new musicians because it also costs a lot.

The ‘Aseda’ hitmaker revealed that she would collaborate with any secular musician if God wanted her to.

“I won’t have any problem in collaborating with any secular artist if God intends me to do so.”

When asked about the success of her current album ‘Aforeba’ she told “I’m in shock at the rate at which my new album is making progress. We prayed for this and I thank Lord for the rate at which it’s progressing.”

The gospel musician, known as Mercy Twum Boafo in real life said she feels extremely happy when fans make remarks on her costumes and stage performances.

“I take notice when my fans criticize my outfits. I appreciate when I’m corrected by them.”
