The Ghana Music Rights Organization GHAMRO, had declared the upcoming elections of GHAMRO Board members on 11 February 2015.
New Plans For Elections Revealed By GHAMRO
GHAMRO revealed the plans for the elections, it was expected that the elections were taken in December but because of some official problems and disturbance elections did not announce in December.
It was stated that some musicians were removed from the membership without any specific reasons according to the removed members.
However, GHAMRO has solved the problems and announced the new dates of election plans.
Meanwhile, the venues for the elections are CIBT Social Adance. Adjacent Teachers Hal Accra and Kumasi Cultural Center. Apatakese Ase and also the Tamale Cultural Center.
Although, The Ghana Music Rights Organization also declared the numbers of their membership to 3850 from 7000, after full dismembering all those who have not yet met the criteria of their membership.
