Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur hosted Abraham Attah at the Flagstaff house

Vice President of Ghana, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, hosted international award winning on-screen character, Abraham Attah, at the Flagstaff House in Accra yesterday on early Friday.

The 15-year-old came back to Ghana yesterday [Friday] following a week stay in the United States that saw him present an award at the Oscars 2016 furthermore win the Independent Spirit Award for “Best Male Lead” for his breakout performance as a child fighter in ‘Beasts of No Nation’.

He additionally got the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival 2015 and the “Rising Star Award” at the Black Film Critics Circle this past awards season.

Abraham Attah had close by his Independent Spirit Award statuette at the presidential home as he was joined by his mom to meet the Vice-President.

In a Facebook post by the Vice President, he portrayed the meeting with young and talented Abraham Attah as lovely and saluted him for being a fine envoy of Ghana.
