Ghanaian Hiplife singer, Bisa Kdei stroked another milestone achievement in his rising music career when he received the ‘Best song of the year’ award at Music Of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) Awards scheme.
The artist has delighted in a brilliant ascent in popularity in the previous year, and topped it off with the award.
His hit single, ‘Mansa’ fended off in competition with the song ‘Brother Brother’, which is another brilliant composition by the talented musical artist.
Other songs which were nominated in the category included Minabopo by EL, Concert Party by R2Bees, Telemo by Gasmilla, Skolom by VVIP, Obrafour’s Pimpinaa, and Mewu by Sarkodie.
The artist went ahead to get three more individual awards, including being named ‘MOGO Artist of the Year’, in one of his greatest nights in the years.
Taking all things together, ten remarkable artists got merited recognition for a great job done.
Remarkable legends, whose commitments to the Ghanaian music industry have conveyed awesome gains to the highlife music genre, particularly Ebo Taylor and Bob Pinodo, were additionally awarded with lifetime accomplishment awards.
The awards were also spiced with a dinner dance; saw incredible performances by Ebo Taylor, Bessa Simons, Bob Pinodo and the legendary artist Amakye Dede.
The MOGO Awards Festival 2016, was powered by Radio Channel, supported by Alisa Hotels and the +233 Jazz Bar and Gril, and sponsored by the National Lottery Authority and Rehoboth Properties.
