Yesterday, Ghana celebrated 59-years of independence and the day was observed with different activities including Independence Day parade at the Independence Square in Accra.
Among the many contented and discontented Ghanaians who were tweeting about the celebration was popular actress, Yvonne Nelson who is clearly not satisfied with the height of Ghana’s progress in 59 long years.
In a succession of tweets, she shared a photo of some school children seated on blocks as a chair and table, in this year of development.
Check her tweets below:
“Sad Independence Day. It can’t be HAPPY #Ghana #Godhelpus”
“Charley why can’t you put your political parties aside?? Really Charley. Must everything said be about that! Reason why we are here!”
“I can’t tiiink far Charley. These party supporters are killing Ghana!”
