Herty Borngreat, a Ghanaian gospel singer guarantees her fans that she has no plans for quitting the music and she is very much in a gospel music fraternity.
The concerns were natural after the speculations sprung that she might have quit the music industry as she has not released a track for a while now and also that her annual concert “Be My Guest” might be cancelled this year.
She has established herself as consistent in releasing the tracks since three years. Eventually she gathers them into an album.
She has said that her decision to slow down her career towards the middle of the year was thoughtful and she wants to focus on her academic plans.
Herty stated that she cannot quit and never will quit the gospel music. Her music is her passion and she sees it as a comfort and not as a profession. She said she can’t stop Christian ministration because it is tied to her gospel music career.
The award winning musician said that regardless of her challenging life with six young kids and an education career, she finds time for gospel music.
She clarified that people might not see her at shows and performances, but it does not mean she has stopped ministering.
She thinks 2015 is a year of greater things and people will see her doing things she is known for doing. When asked whether “Be My Guest” concert will come off or not. She answered that it is a good concert and it should come off. She also added that the concept of this concert was kicked off by the management and Borngreat music productions to strength the friendship connection between her and different sets of publics.
