Gospel musical artist, Sonnie Badu
Ghanaian Gospel musical artist, Sonnie Badu made an apology to fellow mate musician Yaw Siki for announcing his intention publicly to help him financially.
After the incident in which Yaw Siki was involved in an accident at the Accra-Tema Motorway, he has made a determination not to do secular music again and turned down offer of Sonnie Badu on the premise that the UK based musician came out in public to announce his offer.
Despite the fact that Sonnie Badu reacted by expressing the reason that why he made his intentions open, he is accounted for to have apologized to Yaw Siki if he felt humiliated.
He told host of entertainment show, Antoine Mensah, “My aim was to tell him that we are always there for him. It was a delicate subject when he said he relies on upon money from individuals when he preaches them. I did not mean at all to humiliate him; if he felt anything like that I hearty apologize.”
Sonnie Badu offered to bolster Yaw Siki when the rapper (Sonnie Badu) uncovered in a meeting with Media News that he brings home the bacon from the offertory he gets subsequent to preaching in business transports.
On the other hand, Yaw Siki in an interview with Media person cited the sacred writings to support his decision to dismiss the offer.
He noted, “I really adore my sibling Sonni Badu so much and I do respect him. What he did is a demonstration of nobility yet Matthew 6:1-4 says, “So when you provide for the poor, don’t report it with trumpets, as the diplomats do in the synagogues and in the city, to be respected by others. Really I let you know, they have gotten their prize in full. However, in a case of charity, when you provide to the penniless, don’t even tell your left hand what your right hand is doing, so that you’re giving might be in mystery” So in light of these word, I am not ready to take the offer.”
