Directors, T.W. Pittman and Kelly Daniela Norris, talked about their upcoming movie “Nakom” which was shot entirely in Ghana and is done totally in the Kusaal language.
The movie reveals the tale of a young boy named Iddrisu, who is a medical student, and who has no option but to leave the life of city and come back to his village after he discovers that his father is no more.
Iddrisu must take his father’s place as the chief of the household, and decide between living a farmer’s life in the village or his medical career.
“Nakom” made its North American debut at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s New Directors/New Films Festival on March 18th and March 19th.
