The ‘Starr Woman Project’ which is based on the sole purpose of providing young women entrepreneurs with appropriate knowledge to realize their talent has been celebrated by women activists in Ghana.
The project which was initiated on The Zone hosted by the cheerful Naa Ashorkor of Starr 103.5FM was attended by three well known women of Ghana; broadcaster Gifty Anti, co-founder and chief technical officer of Logiciel, Farida Bedwei and co-host of Gh Today Baisiwa Dowuona Hammond.
The Starr Woman Project is an extension of ‘The Zone’ which aims at equipping young women entrepreneurs with the pertinent knowledge, ability and motivation to accomplish their fullest potential as entrepreneurs.
While addressing during the launch, Oheneyere Dr. Gifty Anti said: “You could be working for someone else and still be a star. You will get aid from the people if you are truly determined. Women are not enemies of one another, we are not in competition, and we go together with each other.”
“It’s not needed to revise those mistakes that some people had made before you, so for that mentorship is necessary, let other people reveal their stories to you so that you could learn important life lessons,” Bedwei stated.
