Ghanaian Gospel artist, Patience Nyarko, says she is not prepared for any sort of collaboration with any Ghanaian secular artist.

She disclosed this amid her most recent album launch held over the weekend on the streets of the capital, Accra.

Speaking to the media at her album launch, the “Wafom Kwan” hitmaker expressed that she is yet to work together with international Gospel artists.

‘For the present, I have no such plans for international collaborative works’, she uncovered.

Whenever inquired as to whether she gets local secular artists for collaborations, particularly some persuasive acts like Sarkodie or Shatta Wale, the “Menwu” vocalist said it’s not a part of her plan but rather she will do when God will allow her to do so.

You want to get me stuck in trouble’, she laughed. ‘I haven’t considered it. In the event that you are a Christian or a believer, you move your progressions as indicated by God’s headings. So if God asks that I work together with either Shatta Wale or Sarkodie, why not?’ she expressed.

She further cleared a few recognitions about secular artists being labeled as unbelievers, yet at the same time demanded that she has no collaborative work or plans for any secular artist regardless of the fact that she is somewhat approached.

Being a secular artist doesn’t make you an idol worshiper. The greater part of them go to Church yet I have no collaborative work or plans for them, notwithstanding when they approach me, she closed.

Patience Nyarko launched her 9-track VCD album titled “Wafom Kwan” (You have lost the way) on Saturday, 19th of March, 2016 on the streets of the capital, Accra.

She likewise earned two nominations at the upcoming, 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Her hit single “Wafom Kwan” was nominated for the “Best Gospel Song of the Year” award close by SP Kofi Sarpong’s “Hour By Hour” featuring Joyce Blessing, Kofi Gyan’s “Yoboyo”, Obaapa Christy’s “Hyebre Sesafo”, Mary Owusu’s “W’ow Nkwa Wo Wor Ade” and Nicholas Omane Acheapong’s “Aporsor”.
