Fritz Baffour, MP for Ablekuma South, has expressed that he never exited the Ghanaian showbiz scene, never.
The previous stand-up humorist and on-screen character told the host of Entertainment show, DJ Premier, Saturday, the 26th of March that: ‘I know I had to focus on the parliament yet I have not left the Ghanaian showbiz, I’m still a part of it’.
I have acted in two or three movies amid this time, but because of parliament, I didn’t get any reward. I have a few companions who might say: ‘Fritz, please we need you to play this short role and I will do it on the off chance that I felt it was alright’.
The Member of Parliament, who is not looking for re-election, however said he was not returning into the showbiz as an entertainer, yet would do anything the creative arts brought his way.
‘I am not returning as a humorist; I am returning as a Ghanaian who adores the arts… I am not here to challenge the young artists, but rather you can simply be a senior statesman and there are roles for aged people in the movie’, he said, including: ‘With respect to drama, I understood at a specific time that the sort of satire I used to do is currently obsolete, in this way, I won’t return as an entertainer’.
Mr Baffour also unveiled he took up comedy since he was jobless after he had come back from Britain.
