Ghanaian well-known actor, Majid Michel
Last weekend, the premiere of the up and coming film ‘Amakye and Dede’ went down very well at the Silverbirds Cinemas in the capital, Accra.
Numerous are stating, this premiere recorded the greatest number of audience, ever in the historical backdrop of film premiere here in Ghana. And it was beyond the expectations of the producers as well as the owners of Silverbirds Cinemas.
Ghanaian well-known on-screen character, Majid Michel, one of the main casts in the above mentioned film uncovered that he would attribute the immense success of the premiere which was on the last weekend to the fans. As indicated by him, they the on-screen characters just set up the show, yet it’s the general population (fans and patrons) who make it an advantageous one.
Moreover, he said, ‘You see the hilarious thing is…. We don’t know who makes the show. We don’t make the show at all, what we do is simply set it up! The general population makes it. The premiere of upcoming ‘Amakye and Dede’ at the West slopes Mall. I’m very grateful to the PEOPLE. Because Without you, we are NOTHING’.
