The fifth edition of current year’s Foklex Media Awards 2016 event was all about fun and cheerful, as several Radio and other TV personalities joined to enhance the grace of an event. Awards celebration took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi. There was amazing live band performance and in addition to that incredible performances from Abusuapanin Ckiki Cherke and Wayoosi.
Many noticeable and prestigious media presenters won numerous awards due to their hard work. Prominent among them were Summer of Angel radio station Eddie Ray, Oduefour Nana Asabre, Bonti Talawa Akua Ahwenie Ike The Unpredictable, just to specify few of them.
Most interested news is that Gilbert Yeboah, popularly known as Busumuru Sean Kingston in the showbiz industry; who is the Chief Executive Officer seancitygh.com was delegated award of the Best Online Promoter of the Year.
In an exclusive interview with host, Anning Ogee Oscar of Bekwai based radio station; Busumuru communicated his excitement and joy to the organizers team of the annual awards and the whole Ghanaians for perceiving his great work. However, he devoted the award to his spiritual father, Bishop Daniel Obinim, who is the leader and founder of International Gods Way Church.
“I am exceptionally glad for this award. I will express thanks to the organizers of Foklex Media Awards and the whole Ghanaians for this honor. This award is completely committed to my otherworldly father, Bishop Daniel Obinim. He has been a very good spiritual father to me. I really adore him.”
