Bishop Daniel Obinim
These days, Bishop Daniel Obinim has gotten a lot of hostile response and criticism from people in general, so in response to this the Bishop is convinced to say that, ‘No man can’t take away the gift God has given me’.
This was uncovered by General director of Obinim TV (OBTV), Samuel Owusu-Asare in a meeting with the well-known host of the show, Akwasi Aboagye. He said, what the National Communications Authority (NCA) did by bringing down OB TV from the screens won’t influence the Bishop at all, as Obinim himself said he ought to tell people in general that it’s just God who has the power to take away his gift from him yet not man.
Asked about whether Obinim has in any way been influenced by the move made by the NCA, he replied rapidly, ‘Oh no, he was not the least moved. It’s not influencing the Bishop Obinim at all, it’s influencing just us, the representatives’.
He proceeded with, ‘Obinim said I ought to tell the general population that, ‘the day any man will take away his God given gift, he will put his hand on his head and cry’ to the most extreme’.
When asked about whether the Bishop will go to the court over this serious issue, he replied, ‘Oh no, we don’t need to go to the court over the matter… we are simply asking NCA to hustle just a bit and process our permit with the goal that we can be back on air’.
