Popular Nigerian songwriter and musical artist, Wizkid stays winning after his featuring on hit single, titled ‘One Dance’ by Drake.
The hit maker of ‘Ojuelegba’ has been announced as one of the best entertainers at the current year’s ESSENCE Festival, right after few days when musician was starred on brand new single of Drake, ‘One Dance’, from his up and coming music album ‘Views From The 6’.
In the 22nd year of his life, the festival will be featured by Mariah Carey, Maxwell and Kendrick Lamar. Tyrese, Charlie Wilson, Jidenna, Estelle, New Edition, Faith Evans, Mali Music and Jeremih are the other performing artists to show their talents.
The event, ESSENCE Music Festival is a yearly music celebration which began in 1994 as an erratic occasion to commemorate the 25th anniversary of a magazine, named Essence which was pointed fundamentally towards African-American ladies. It is the biggest occasion observing African-American society, culture and music in the US. It is otherwise called Essence Fest and will take place in New Orleans.
The music festival starred musicians at the same time performing on a stage along with four standing-room just super lounge main stages.
President of music festival, Michelle Ebanks said, “The ESSENCE Music Festival is back to take place in New Orleans with a phenomenal list of the greatest names and best entertainers in music industry, from worldwide legendary music artists to the rising stars of business.
Moreover, he said “We are inviting Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey and Maxwell to feature the Superdome fundamental stage. Furthermore, we will be grasping newcomers and young sensations like Jeremih, Leon Bridges, Dej Loaf, Lion Babe and The Internet, and in addition to all most loved entertainer of all fans, Charlie Wilson for a definitive social experience in New Orleans on this July fourth weekend.”
