Ghanaian well-known dancehall legend, Shatta Wale may have promoted the Ghanaian music, especially dancehall genre not only in Ghana but also all over the world and has taken it to the following level and obviously with the assistance of a few debates yet as is commonly said there is a cost to pay for everything.

The ‘Kakai’ hit producer says his guardians did not take his decision easy when he chose to challenge their fate and take up the mantle of Music.

My guardians deserted and dismisses me when I decided to become an artist.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr popularly known by his stage name Shatta Wale, is a Ghanaian born reggae-dancehall artist who was born on the seventeenth of October, 1984 in the capital, Accra to Charles Mensah Snr and Mama Elsie.

Shatta Wale is best known for his super hit song “Dancehall King” which prompted the triumphant the Artist of the Year at the 2014 release of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs). He is also famous for his smash hit songs ‘Kakai’ and ‘Me Need No Awards’. In short, he is a Ghanaian dancehall legend now and his parents didn’t know that their son would become a legendary artist one day.
