Ekow Smith Asante, famous Ghanaian veteran actor has revealed his expectations to become a President of the Ghana Actors Guild.
The ace actor has been in the film industry for almost (twenty-two) 22 years and is looking forward to become a President within the Guild in Ghana.
He disclosed his interest of becoming executive during an interview with Kwame Buckman, on TOP Showbiz on Saturday when he appeared as a guest in radio show.
Ekow Smith encouraged all of his patrons to sit tight calmly for his latest new movie, dubbed “The Pressure”. He said, my new movie is intended to urge all people of Ghana to make sure about peaceful upcoming elections, will take place in November, at the end of this year. Peace is very important for elections.
His new movie is expected to be premiered on the April 23, 2016 at the West hill malls and the Silverbird cinema, Accra.
At the recently held Ghana Actors Guild, it was noticed that there was no effective welfare system and there was not a proper system to help actors, as the main purpose of this umbrella body is to help actors financially as actors cannot go in public for the sake of help.
