Previous host of Taxi Drive show on radio channel, Blakk Rasta has revealed that he left radio station not only due to the reason that he felt he was deceived but basically to give the “chance to fail” to Program Manager, Mark Okraku-Mantey.
Recently, Radio presenter resigned from radio after he was pulled before the Privileges Committee for purportedly asserting that around 80% of Parliamentarians smoke marijuana.
The former radio presenter was not pleased about how about how administration handled his issue of smoking marijuana. As per him, they went about as they cared very less about the consequences. He had asserted that the lawyer who was given to him by the management to handle his case was an untrained student lawyer who was not professional in handling cases and felt he was not treated well.
In any case, talking on Entertainment Review show on Saturday, radio presenter said that Okraku-Mantey, Programs Manager recommended that his radio show, Taxi Drive will be planned for the night as it was aired in mid morning.
He noted, “When Mark accepted office as a Program Manager, he advised management he needed to move the show, Taxi Driver to the night since in his point of view; it was, for need of a superior word, ‘profane’. However, management did not concur but rather he acquired that recommendation back six months so I felt like I should allow them to succeed with his thought. I knew it would be exceptionally troublesome for the managers to take me out.”
Inquired as to whether he would have acknowledged having a night appear, Blakk Rasta gave positive response for delivering show in the evening.
He stated, “I will deliver show at whatever time you gave me. I just wanted to give Okraku-Mantey the ‘chance to fail’.”
