Hiplife should be used to preach peace not profanity

These days like many other things, music also plays a noteworthy role in our lives, especially in the lives of kids and youth regarding socialization. When the music is great, it pulls in numerous fans as it is heard all around: on radio as well as on the Internet.

But let’s talk about the dark side. Mostly folks are unaware of the lyrics their kids are listening to. Music offers an effective instrument for compelling interchanges, and most of the times kids, intentionally or unwittingly, learn the lyrics and that turn out to be a part of their mind.

Hiplife is a Ghanaian musical genre which wires highlife and hip hop, recorded transcendentally in the Akan. I am of the conclusion that since this genre of music is emerging from our own local highlife, its lyrics ought to be continued elevating.

What I believe is, great highlife music is educative and described by exceptionally astute words that sound good in the ears. Then again, hiplife is not the same; it has taken another dimension today.

Its basic content has occupied from the principle idea behind the genre. It is currently depicting the hip pop style with wild and immoral lyrics as shown by a few artists. The young people love these kinds of music since that is the thing that the business sector is putting forth.

Nowadays the Hiplife tracks are about girls and how s3xy they are; this makes the lyrics, dull and excessively exhausting, taking innovativeness out from the music. Lyrics ought to be loaded with insight, and not about s3x and ladies. Also, when it gets to be fundamental that such stuff be presented, then it ought to be done the best possible way.

Hip life ought to be utilized to preach peace and teach the adolescent and not foulness.
