Ghanaian dancehall legend, Shatta Wale
Ghana’s legendary dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has uncovered that God is the mystery behind his flourishing music career and has approached his fans to be more determined and have faith in God.
‘I use to tell my fans and other people that when I am managing my life and my music career, it is not by my strength or by my quality but rather it is God. Furthermore, I always say God, God, however, individuals think I am just joking. I get a kick out of the chance to to advise individuals to have faith in God regardless of anything’. Shatta Wale told the media in the morning show.
He further revealed that, ‘At the Independence Square, where I launched my album ‘After the storm’, I was stunned. My father came to talk to me and I put my face on his shoulder and cry a bit and asked ‘Daddy, are all these fans here for me?’ And he said, ‘It is God’. That was the main thing my dad has told me since childhood’.
‘I called Chris Konney and let him know that the crowd of almost 40,000 people was a miracle and he said it was just because of God. He held my hand and we said a few supplications… Because we had confidence in God, He demonstrated to us a wonder’, Shatta Wale told the host.
At no other time, ever in the history of Ghana’s music, has the launch of a music album pulled in such a great number of fans and sponsorship from some of the Ghana’s highly regarded companies.
