There were rumors that Dancehall artist, Episode has slammed one of his fellow dancehall artists in his new remix, titled “Take We Back” and it’s revealed that he has blasted BET award winner, Stonebwoy for labeling himself as an Afro-dancehall musician.
As indicated by “Avatar” hit-maker, it doesn’t bode well to name the music genre Dancehall as “Afro Dancehall” just due to the fact that it is made in Africa. Moreover, he questioned, let’s suppose you are in any other country like China and you do Dancehall there, would you call that “Chin Dancehall”? He said, it doesn’t make any sense.
Episode proposed that as Africans how about we have an entirely unique name to depict the Dancehall genre we do if truly need to possess what we produce from the Dancehall.
Moreover, he said Stonebwoy is a very confused artist, who himself don’t know what exactly meant by “Afro Dancehall” that’s why he labels himself as an Afro-dancehall singer.
“Take We Back” is a remix version of Sarkodie’s latest song, “Take It Back”. Sarkodie has released it few days back.
He dropped his new single “Take We Back” earlier this week and is already attracted a great number of fans and music lovers.
