Ghanaian artists seem very busy tonight. While the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016 (VGMA) nominees are competing it out to take the awards tonight in the capital Accra. One of the best Ghanaian artists, Wiyaala, is all set to make her debut at Brazil Meets Africa in the United Kingdom tonight.
Brazil Meets Africa is the brainchild of Claudio Kron, a celebrated Brazilian percussionist, and veteran of celebrations overall known for his alluring stage performances.
Media reports the two super-talented artists are fully prepared after the enchanting practices they made with an intense combination, joining Claudio’s Brazilian beats and rhythms with Wiyaala’s West African musical folk conventions.
John Sherren, Wiyaala’s supervisor said a few days back, ‘We are not in the United Kingdom to take detainees. I will get Wiyaala to perform at each and every possible opportunity. I truly hope she will get to be one of the greatest artists ever to rise up out of Africa. Ghanaians ought to be pleased with their young lady’.
Everything is going down tonight on Saturday, May 7, at The West Riding, Platform 3 in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Entrance is totally free and the show has started at 8pm.
