Ghanaian movie producer and Chief Executive Officer of Sparrow Productions, Shirley Frimpong Manso is very depressed about the present condition of radio in Ghana and has moaned about the fallen standards in radio.

According to her, there is lack professionalism, which is a long ways from what related a few years back. She whined about the absence of polished methodologies now.

The ace film writer and producer, who radioed from 1996 to 2000, uncovered that she scarcely listens to radio these days in view of fallen standards.

She told the host of radio show, Doreen Andoh that, “In past, were somewhat not quite the same as nowadays. You are one of those people whom I admired.”

She proceeded with that, everything was very fresh amid her radio days, “there was a great deal of professionalism and skill on the airwaves. There was a great deal of dignity. You were intended to make the best decision.”

Pro film director admitted that when she tunes in nowadays to listen to any of the radio station, “aside from maybe a couple people that I think they’ve recovered the training from that point, so you can easily distinguish between Doreen Andoh and the other radio presenters, since you realize that she has that kind of training till now.”

She deplored, “I can’t believe the kind of stuff that is on our airwaves now … It’s just crazy.”
