Ghanaian Entrepreneur and movie star, Prince David Osei has expressed with anger that pro film producer; David Owusu is an attention seeking person and he deceives on others.
In an interview with radio presenter, Prince David Osei slammed the producer as David was called on to react to a statement made by the film maker that movie stars in Kumasi ought to be cautious since English stars were trouping to the spot to shoot their films said by the movie producer “is not right”.
He couldn’t understand why such a controversial statement ought to be made.
He said, “The person we are talking about is a pro movie producer. He is one trashy person, a cheater, takes individuals’ cash to create films for them and but in reality he doesn’t do it. Also, he’s been to police many times. I remember, the last time I worked with him was in the year, 2011. He couldn’t pay me for my hard work that is why this person needs only attention.”
As per the film star, the decision of working in Kumawood movies was just because of a untied movie industry.
He suggested, “Presently with the problem of movie actors going to Kumasi and work there, it’s very heartbreaking they are attempting to bring this up. A few of us chose to go do films in Kumasi just to cultivate solidarity and manufacture this bit by bit kicking the bucket movie industry of our own. “
He included, I don’t know why this kind of story is coming up. Just for the records, Van has been doing movies in Kumasi for quite a while; actor Majid also did it with comedian, Lilwin.”
