Renowned Ghanaian comedian, David Oscar stated that he is done with comedy because his passion is shifted towards music. He can now be appropriately be alluded as a previous entertainer because he has repeated his statement that he is more interested in doing music.
Some time back, when the comedian announced that he is abandoning comedy, many critics came up with the view that he has done so because he has failed in comedy. He repeats that he did not quit comedy due to this reason.
David Oscar got popularity after showing his humorous character of the reality show, now has announced to come into music.
His time in comedy was not that good and could have been described as ‘rocky’ because many critics said that his jokes are totally lame.
Due to this, his sudden entry into the music scene is describing that he has failed in comedy industry.
In an interview on radio channel, the former stand-up comedian stated that, ‘now I am a music artist and I announced it on various social media, TV and radio platforms that I am finished with comic drama and I guess many individuals missed that.’
He expressed that in life there comes a point when you are not able to express experiences and certain feelings in comedically, and being a comedian I always find ways to express myself. I guess music is more appropriate to expresses yourself.
Moreover, he says he takes inspiration from musicians like Bob Marley, Morgan Heritage and Peter Tosh as he sets out on his new journey.
