Popular Ghanaian movie director, Fiifi Gharbin has talked about the divisions in the movie industry and the enemies due to which Ghanaian movie industry is not getting that success. Artists have divided themselves in different divisions.
According to Ace movie producer, enemies of the film industry are not implausible and they are no other than movie players themselves.
While speaking in an interview on Entertainment show, with host Mr. Latus, he expressed that he does not understand about the divisions in the industry, some are calling themselves English actors, some are Twi actors, he supposes a situation should not come about a division in the film industry.
He said that these divisions are tha main factor due to which numerous low level producers are bringing Nigerian actros in our movie industry.
He said, “Sometimes it seems that we people are our own enemies. Because in the initial days there were no division in the industry and all were working together, I remember few years back, Nadia, Jackie Appiah, Van Vicker and among others came here in Kumasi for the movie shooting. There wasn’t any kind of division, when David Dontor, Maame Dokono and others were very active in the acting profession. But now, including people and stars, media also started bringing these divisions as to English and Twi. We are trying to make people understand that these divisions don’t matter when you are working in a one industry. And these languages do not keep us apart. We can see actots like Aki, Pawpaw, Mr Ibu and actress Patience Ozorko are working in our movies. I will advise to all industry fellows that we should need to get united and together we have to work for our country, Ghana”.
