Ghanaian dancehall musician and BET award winner, Stonebwoy who also represented Ghana last year at the BET awards, has clearly stated that he doesn’t know about the criteria BET has set to nominate artists.
As he won BET award last year, so many people thought that he is well aware about the criteria Black Entertainment Television awards used for nomination because he has been there and done that but its opposite to the reality.
Even hit maker of ‘Go higher’ says when he was there he tried to ask them about the criteria but they told him that there is no fixed criteria for selection.
In an interview on radio channel, when radio host asked him that either he knows about the used criteria or not?
He said, ‘On a very serious note, I don’t have any idea about their selection criteria. I tried to ask their representatives and organizers when I was there, I thought they may tell me because they deal with that, but I was shocked to listen that they don’t have any fixed criteria, they nominate artists on random basis.’
He proceeded, ‘I think it’s may be confidential for them about the disclosure of criteria, or may be their code of ethics do not permit them to disclose that, and according to the representatives, the criteria they used every year would suit the award.’
