Ghanaian dancehall queen, MzVee
Ghanaian dancehall queen, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda popularly known as MzVee in the music industry has recently uncovered that like many other Ghanaian artists, she has never performed on any stage internationally, ever since she started her music career.
While speaking to the host, Mike2 in an Entertainment show, dancehall queen said, it’s not like she hasn’t got the chance to perform outside Ghana but has had a lot of invitations to perform in USA, London, South Africa and different countries however totally denied the offers because of her own personal reasons.
BET nominee also revealed that, despite the fact that she has traveled outside Ghana many times for different purposes like business and tours, she has not got on any stage outside Ghana to perform.
“I have had an invitation to perform in London, US and South Africa, but did not go since management wanted me to start from Ghana till some time”, she told the host, last Saturday.
When at the end, the host asked her about her chances of bagging an award in the Black Entertainment Television 2016 (BET). She replied, she is hopeful that she will beat the other nominees and bring the award home. MzVee has been nominated for the ‘Best International Act Africa’ category in the up and coming BET 2016.
“I am the baby in the category and for me I am doing my own thing as MzVee leaving the guys to do their own stuff”, she finished.
