Recently, on the last Saturday, late Ghanaian comedian, Bishop Bob Okala was buried and his funeral took place in Accra, which was being attended by well known identities. President John Dramani Mahama, who was the companion of late Bob Okala also attended the final funeral rituals.
The funeral took place at the Arts Center, Acrra. Other well know Ghanaian personalities including Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Creative Arts, comedian A1 and on-screen character Paa George.
Most of the people who attended the funeral, were dressed in black color like Bob Okala accompanied the body. President Mahama was also seen wearing balck. The caravan made a stop at the workplaces of The Multimedia Group in Kokomlemle in Accra before going to the final destination, Arts Center. A producer was almost ’99’, as indicated by reports, broken down and kicked the bucket at the memorial service grounds.
The Ghanaian comedian, Bob Okala real name Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, passed away at the Koforidua Hospital on Sunday, the 13th of March, 2016. He was performing on the stage at the Koforidua Jackson park, suddenly amid his performance, he collapsed and taken to the hospital where he passed away.
The dead body of bishop Bob touched base in the Accra, Saturday evening, from the Eastern Region for the memorial service. It was joined by a six-vehicle escort including a rescue vehicle which contained the dead body.
