Entertainment critics and marketers have recently started saying that the Ghanaian film industry is totally dead but well known Ghanaian on-screen character, Kofi Adjorlolo has finally responded to the critics by uncovering that the Ghanaian film industry is not dead, we only need structures and we are working on it.
He told the media, “The Ghanaian film industry is not dead, structures are what we lack and until we put them in order we will never have a good and lucrative film industry”.
Moreover, Adjorlolo said that we have to work hard to make our industry better and on top of the game, for this we must introduce new talented people in the industry.
“We need to work again to revive our industry through good content in our movies and try to introduce young and talented up and coming actors into the game to break the monopoly of actors in our movies”, he expressed.
Kofi Adjorlolo then compared Ghanaian Film industry with that of Kumawood by saying that the Kumawood people in spite of having a poor content, are very serious about their film industry.
“They know what they are about when they are in operation. They still use their distribution point for sales of their moving which makes them better than the glamour movie actors”.
