The boss of EKB Records, Kiki Banson has revealed that he found it unnecessary to compare artists. Further he stated that you cannot compare artists because two artists in this world are not same.
The former manager of Becca has explained that every artist’s talent is unique in its own way. Few days ago, lyrical war held between well-known artists of Ghana. Different artists have thrown shots at each other. On current issue, Kiki Banson has also reflected his reaction he stated that he found it unnecessary to compare artists.
He stated that:
“For me, I find it unnecessary to compare artists. I always say that there aren’t two artists in this world that are the same. You cannot equate artistes.”
Further he stated that you cannot compare artist because the talent that artists have is not same and in comparison phenomena you can never understand what actually arts is.
“So as rapidly you start linking artists, for me, I start questioning your understanding of even what you’re doing. You cannot be better than the next art because it is a different game altogether. Talents are not the same. You cannot compare yourself to another if you understand what art is all about.”
