The most prolific gospel musician of Ghana Oware Michael Sakyi who is popularly known as OJ has disclosed that most of his songs are written for international purposes.
The multiple award-winning gospel minister has wrote timeless songs. He delivered hit songs like Obi nya WO aye, Etesen and maye se mo pen.
In an interview ‘’maye se mo pen’’ hit maker disclosed that aside of being gifted in the area of songwriting. He has also devoted his time to develop his writing skills making him unique in his lyrical delivering.
In his interview he also touched the issue of the songs he produces as to whether they are based on real life issues. He declared that most of the songs are based on inspirations. He also disclosed that he thinks deeply before he writes.
Further OJ has disclosed that most of his songs were written for international purposes. He also promised that he will release his sixth studio album soon stating 80 percent is already finished.
OJ started his career with his debut album, Adom Ne Odo which contained hit numbers like Obi Nya W’aye and Koso Na Koso. He released his first album in 2003. He got lost for five long years and has now resurfaced.
