Foster Romanus
The legendary stage drama actor and stand-up comedian of Ghana, Foster Amponsah who is popularly known as Foster Romanus has revealed that comedy is most difficult field of art compared to other art forms. He also disclosed that organizers is not paying Ghanaian Comedians well.
In his interview he talked about his upcoming project ‘1022 Laughs and Music slated’ which will release on 6th August, 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Different actors will entertain audience on particular night. Names of such artists are Foster Romanus, OB, Lekzy Decomic, Acapella, I Go Dye, Destalker, and Kenney Black.
Last year, Foster was allocated to perform at 1021 Laughs and Music. When asked how he felt been allocated to perform once again he said that:
“It tells me am doing great and my fans should expect more from.”
The legendary comedian Amponsah addressed the issues of event organizers is not paying Ghanaian Comedians well. He also revealed that comedy is most difficult field of art compared to other art forms.
He stated that:
“The fact that comedy hasn’t gained grounds does not mean you take comedians for granted the career of comedian is the most difficult as compared to any other art form.”
