Aged women at studio
Ghana’s new tourism Ambassador, Abeiku Santana and Leader of the United Renaissance Party (URP), Chuck Kofi Wayo have donated unrevealed amount of money and eatables to aged women in the society.
The talented radio host with the help of URP Founder welcomed large number of aged women in the studios of radio station which were owned by Despite Group of Company for presentation.
The women between the age of 6 and 101 shared their sad stories and few shared their memories from happy time when they also had a family. All aged women got to know each other and enjoyed memories. This all was transmitted live on radio station, which was hosted by Abeiku Santana.
Their small act of kindness put smiles on several faces. They give them some amount of money for living.
Apart from giving cash, they also gave each woman a bag of rice, wheat and other necessary items to take home. Some of the aged women came from Eastern Region, Tema and other parts of Ghana; some came from Accra to receive money and items.
It was a very sad moment for many old women who though they are helpless now and lose their hope. Media news was also in the studios to support this act of kindness. These women left the studios with a lot of prayers and well wishes for the organizers.
