Roc Nation LLC is an American Entertainment Company which is owned by Jay Z is going to sign the talented singer of Ghana, Sarkodie.
In an interview the Jay Z’s cousin who is Director of Mobile Strategies at the imprint has stated that he is already talking on particular issue. He also stated that he visited different countries of world and the purpose behind it is to discover new talent. Earlier, they signed a distribution deal with Tiwa Savage, making her the first Africa act to join the company.
He stated that:
“We are going country by country. I’m already talking to Sarkodie in Ghana to do something with him. I got something in Gambia, Gabon and Senegal. We have it all spread out. Even in South Africa I am grabbing one artist out of there.”
Further he stated that by using their platform that they have already built for artists, they are giving them access to everything that they have at their office to help them do the same. So, this way they will be able to build their brands and their companies.
The Company has also signed many of hit musicians like Rihanna, Vic Mensa, Willow Smith, Meek Mill, Shakira, DJ Khaled, Kanye West, T.I, Big Sean, Angie Martinez and J. Cole.
