The well-known producer and director of Ghanaian movie industry, Rev Samuel Nyamekye is calling on the Isaac Rockson a critic and film director to condense an apology to producers in Kumasi for describing their creations as trash. He also mentioned that the remarks made by Isaac Rockson are unjustified and ill-fated.
Earlier, the controversial film director has described that Kumasi based movies are trash and it must not be taken serious.
Isaac Rockson claimed that Kumasi movies producers are polluting the market with inferior movies on the market. In his interview he also claimed that the quality of movies Kumasi film producers are shooting is abolishing the image of Ghana and due to these movies it’s becoming difficult for the good ones to be documented internationally.
On this particular issue the chief executive officer of Miracle Films has made quick response. He stated that he respect Rockson very much but for him to describe their works as garbage is not the fair.
‘’I respect Rockson very much but for him to describe our works as ‘’trash’’ is not the best.‘’
Rev Samuel Nyamekye revealed that the whole Akan movie fraternity demands an apology from Isaac Rockson for using such harsh words for their productions.
