The hip-hop star of Ghanaian musical industry, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore who is popular known as D-Black has disclosed that all critics make him do better music.
He revealed that he has started taking his music seriously when he started receiving criticisms about his style of rap. Further he disclosed that first he adapted freestyles in his songs and he did not take the rap seriously until he started getting criticized by people who were not feeling his lyrics.
He stated that:
“You know at first I used to just write the lyrics and I did not even go back to look at it again. A song with Castro I just did a freestyle — but now I think the critics make me do healthier music, now I put a lot of thought in my lyrics.”
He also stated that he was not interested in entertainment business until a song that he recorded with ‘Kweku T’ became prompt hit.
“You know not everyone will love your music, the song that someone says he hates has actually gotten me like six nominations. So some love my music and others don’t.”
D-Black exposed that he was getting ready to release his new album.
