Award winning rapper, Okyeame Kwame has thanked all the sponsors and patrons for making his educational campaign on infectious disease, hepatitis B a very successful project.
He showed his significant appreciation to all fans for colossally contributing towards the tremendous success of his campaign.
Last Friday, the hiplife artist along with OKF arranged a campaign on hepatitis B, also free screening exercises of the infectious disease. More than 1,000 Ghanaians were the part of educational campaign took place in Ho in the Volta Region.
The musician, who is also running Okyeame Kwame Foundation, has come on media news after screening exercises for praising Ghanaians, sponsors and all patrons for recognizing him as a brand.
After that, availing the chance he expressed his gratitude to thank everyone of Ghanaian for backing him without their support and love he would not achieve this success and urged them to consider hepatitis B screening important “due to the fact that hepatitis B is a preventable ailment and AIDS is most certainly not.”
He also explains the lifecycle of this fatal disease and told them that hepatitis B is a life-threatening blood-borne disease caused by HBV virus which directly affects the liver. He said, this disease is transmitted by intercourse or by donating blood. This can cause both chronic and acute liver infections.
