Ex-Doe and Reggie Rockstone

One of the hiplife pioneers, Richard Siaw Akrofi popularly known as Ex-Doe has apologized to legendary hiplife artist, Reggie Rockstone over a lyrical feud happened between them during late 1990s.

He stated that the lyrical war was not intentional because the songs he composed many years back were not intended to blast him, they were just a part of showbiz.

He said, he hopes that hiplife Grandpa will forgive him.

The song which was the actual cause of beef between two hiplife pioneers was the hit banger released by Ex-Doe in 1999, titled ‘Maba’.

In the track, there were lyrics like

“Rasta wonti reggae wose wo y3 rapper.” That means Rasta can’t speak reggae language; and you claim that you are a rapper.

“Me die menim se wo ye dancer.” Means I know you are a dancer and so on

Wose wo fre woho President wonsoa won te wo resident wanhwe a mede wo beto internet ma obiaa ate wonka. which directly taunt him and means you call yourself President, you don’t live in a residence…

Now, after many feuds between the top notch musicians, at last Ex-Doe apologized to Reggie at the launching event of Hiplife Month on radio channel.

He said, “Reggie I am sorry.”
