The experienced and beautiful actress of Ghanaian glamour industry, Queen Sarbi Debrah has unveiled that present stars are not taken through practices before standing in front of the camera, hence fallen the value of movies in Ghana at the moment. She made strong statement in her interview. It seems to be she wants to tell the story behind the current failure of film industry.
According to Queen Sarbi Debrah, in the days when the industry was active and respected by Ghanaians, they did not just go honestly on set to shoot but rather practiced before going on set. In interview she was citied with Rev Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films.
She disclosed that:
‘In those days, before going in front of camera, you had to be taking through practices, one thing that is presently not in routine. So when you meet an artist from ‘Miracle Films’, you can see a huge difference. In fact, ‘Miracle Films’ skilled artists. We had to study a lot.’
On the other hand, she cheered the present crop of producers and managers to put into practice rehearsals with the stars before standing in front of the camera and that will bring out the quality of movies they are expecting.
