Sarkodie and Shatta Wale on stage
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has requested of critics to stop comparing his freshly held show at the Indigo at the 02 to that of multi BET Award candidate Sarkodie.
The singer on Saturday evening shared a post on Facebook declaring the BET Award winner “killed” his concert and so did he “make an announcement”.
According to the performer, these were great moments for Ghanaians to push and to celebrate “our music to the next level instead of doing comparison”.
This comes as a result of efforts by entertainment critics to realize who among the 2 (Sarkodie and Shatta Wale) had a larger viewers during their concerts at the same spot.
So, the manager of both shows, Akwaaba Music described that in as much as Shatta Wale had a greater audience, it was comprehensible since both shows were occurred at the different seasons summer and winter.
Though, “August is summer time and March is winter time, so sometimes you have to count both but I would say that the shows were great adverts for Ghana”
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale over the weekend put together a grand show as he gave London a performance worth their money.
